For more than 50 years, our dental practice has experienced the love and support of generations of families in Arlington Heights. As a result, we have grown to become a successful practice, but this achievement would not be possible without this great community – one in which our hearts belong. This is why we believe in giving back as much as we can through various organizations and volunteer efforts.
Scholarship Program
Congratulations on your senior year and your pending high school graduation! This is an exciting time for you. As a high school senior, many exciting events are happening in your life, college most likely being at the forefront of your mind. Because you are a current patient with Costello & DeHart Dental Excellence, we are pleased to offer you the opportunity to be awarded a $1,000 scholarship toward your freshman year of college.

Smile Makeovers for Veterans
As a way to show our appreciation to the men and women who serve our country, we nominate a few veterans each year to receive a smile makeover. As an effective form of treatment that helps to transform appearances, this is just a small way that we can say “thank you” to those who have given so much. If you know of someone who is a veteran and deserving of a smile makeover, please contact our office.
Dentistry from the Heart
As a way to reach underprivileged families in the area, our team participates in Dentistry from the Heart. It is one day in which we provide free services to those who need help to improve their oral healthcare but lack the means to receive it. By providing access to various forms of treatment, we can generate healthier smiles in our community while also getting to know those who make Arlington Heights so special.
School Presentations
Throughout the year, Dr. Ernie visits various schools in the community to talk about oral health. From teaching children about the different protective gear dentists wear to discussing ways to ensure proper brushing, flossing, and rinsing at home, he takes time to help make oral hygiene fun and exciting. He even brings a special friend (a stuffed alligator) to explain what kids can do to ensure healthier teeth and gums day after day.
Patient Appreciation
We love making our patients feel appreciated and like they’re a part of our family! That’s why we’ve enjoyed hosting patent appreciation events over the years and have even done different drawings to give away fabulous prizes. Check them out below!
