Meet Dr. Ernie Costello
Dr. Ernie Costello graduated from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. He is an alumnus member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and the Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity. He practices all aspects of general dentistry. He has completed additional focused training in modern endodontic (root canal) treatment and is also an Invisalign Preferred Provider.
Dr. Costello has been a member of the Arlington Heights community since 1975. He attended Olive-Mary Stitt Elementary, Thomas Middle School, and John Hersey High School. He proudly calls Arlington Heights home.
Family is extremely important to Dr. Costello. It is so important that he has two; his family here at Costello & DeHart Dental Excellence which includes his staff and patients and his family at home. Dr. Ernie is happily married to his wife Kelley and he has two daughters Livia and Sofia. Dr. Ernie is proud to be working alongside Dr. Jay DeHart, growing their dental family every day.
When not at the dental office, Dr. Ernie is an avid fan of sports and outdoor activities including fishing, hiking, and horseback riding. He enjoys Chicago Cubs baseball, Chicago Bears football, soccer, and Chicago Blackhawks hockey. He especially enjoys coaching travel softball right here in Arlington Heights. If not watching, playing, or coaching sports he enjoys traveling with his family and spending time with friends.
While growing up, if he wasn’t hanging around a ball field or his father’s dental office he may have been seen at his mother’s dance studio. If you randomly hear someone tapping shoes to the beat, it may be him.
Dr. Costello enjoys having fun and sharing a good laugh, but make no mistake, he takes his dentistry extremely seriously and will always work to ensure your complete satisfaction with any procedure.
He is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He looks forward to your visit and to showing you how exceptional dentistry can improve your life.
